Stop Stealing My Work, Yoga Bloggers!

Ever since I started writing about yoga, I've found my articles copied on loads of yoga blogs. Hey, dear fellow yoga students and bloggers: my work is not yours to steal, copy and paste on your blog! Please read the copyright stuff at the bottom of the homepage and STOP STEALING MY WORK. I've been nice so far and emailed almost everyone individually to kindly ask them to remove my work from their blogs, but I'm a little tired with it now, so from now on it's one email and if you don't remove it in 24 hours I'll file a DMCA notice faster than you can say Om.

About Me

I am a freelance journalist and travel writer and I spent more than three years from late 2005 to early 2009 living, travelling and studying yoga in India. In this blog I share my India travel tips and stories.

Advertising Policy

I don't do sponsored posts. I don't publish advertisements that are badly disguised as "articles".

Sometimes a blog post may contain affiliate links. These are generally recommendations for travel books that I have read and the post usually links to that book on amazon.com. If I recommend a book or a film in a blog post, it means that I have read it or watched it and I liked it. I declare all affiliate links at the beginning or the end of each post.

Ads are published in the right hand column. If you would like to advertise on this blog, feel free to use the contact form to get in touch about advertising rates.

Guest Post Policy

I have not accepted guest posts so far. I would consider a guest post if ALL of the following apply:

*you have been to India
*you have an India travel story to tell or India travel tips to share
*you can write: your grammar does not have to be perfect but you do have to be able to write well.

Please don't:

*ask me if I want "free content" for my blog: no I don't
*start your email with "I notice you have accepted guest posts in the past" – no, I haven't, ever
*ask if you could write a guest post "about a topic of my choosing" – this blog's about India travel so if you can't even figure that out, don't bother.

I cannot afford to pay for guest posts. I will give you a do-follow link to your blog or website.

I don't do sponsored posts.

Want to Get in Touch or Leave a Comment?

I try to reply to all comments and if you contact me using the Contact form, I will try to answer (unless it’s one of those “hi I’m a nice guy looking for a nice girlfriend, you look nice” comments: don’t bother. Just don’t).

However, sometimes I just don’t have time to reply to every question. If I get lots of comments that all ask the same question, I might answer it in a future blog post to make the information available to everyone.

One tip for leaving comments: I HATE text speak. If you write “plz” because you can’t be bothered to type “please”, I can’t be bothered to publish your comment.

Copyright Stuff

All posts are written by Satu Susanna Rommi unless otherwise stated. Photos are by Satu Susanna Rommi and Enzo Coribello unless otherwise stated. If I use anybody else's photos, the photographer will be credited under the photo and/or at the end of the post. If you can't find the photographer's name, it's either myself or Enzo.

I own the copyright to all writing on this blog. You cannot copy and republish these blog posts without my permission NOT EVEN ON SOCIAL NETWORKS LIKE TUMBLR. I'm generally a very nice person but I have very little patience with anyone who steals my work. You are welcome to use a maximum of 50 words from any blog post as long as you credit it to me (please use my full name) and provide a link back to this blog. If you would like me to write for your website, please get in touch via the Contact form.
